Developing lesson in the preparatory group "wintering birds". Directly educational activities (Cognition): Topic: "The amazing life of birds" (preparatory group for school)

Abstract open class in the preparatory group

"Wintering Birds".

Integration educational areas : "Cognition", "Communication".

Goals : to acquaint with wintering birds; study their features; foster a love of nature; develop an interest in bird watching; enrich the dictionary: wintering, migratory birds, feeder.

Materials and equipment : a winter tree with a picture of birds, an audio recording of "Voices of the Birds", jars of bird food, silhouettes of birds, feeders made by children with their parents.

The content of the organized activity.

    Organizing time.

Guess the riddle about the winter month. Justify the answer with the words of the riddle.

It pinches the ears, pinches the nose

Climbs into boots frost.

If you splash water, it will fall

Not water already, but ice.

Even a bird does not fly

The bird freezes from the frost.

The sun turned to summer.

What, tell me, is this in a month?

(January).

- "Even a bird does not fly." Who doesn't fly? (To the bird.)

Why doesn't the bird fly? (She's freezing.)

What are the names of the birds that stay overwintering? (Wintering.)

What kind of wintering birds do you know?

Let's go to the winter forest to see who lives there. Quiet in the forest in late autumn and winter: migratory birds have long gone far, far away. But other birds fly to us for the winter. Let them be few, let them not please us with cheerful chirping, it is still wonderful.

Guys! How beautiful it is in the winter forest! Silence. What is this noise? What is this vanity among the trees?
(The recording of "Voices of the Birds" is played.)
- Guys, these are the birds of the winter forest. But where are they?
(children come up to the tree on which the birds are "sitting").

And here is an unusual tree, on which a flock of birds settled. Let's get to know them.

(Winter tree with wintering birds: bullfinch, crossbill, tit, woodpecker, crow, sparrow, magpie)

II. Acquaintance with wintering birds.

Look what a lively flock settled on the tree.
The birds in this flock are different. All these birds gathered together in the fall. It is easier for them to feed in a flock. One bird will find food, others rush to her voice. The flock will search the tree and the snow under it, collect everything that is possible - the hidden insects, seeds and fruits - and fly on.

Hear the riddle and find this bird in our winter tree.

Black-winged, red-breasted

And in the winter will find shelter

He is not afraid of a cold

With the first snow right there. (Bullfinch).

Well done!

The bullfinch, important and proud, has a bright red breast, a black cap, white stripes on the wings. When the bullfinch takes off from the branch, it seems that two mirrors are flashing in the sun. But only dads - bullfinches look like such dandies. Bullfinches are much more modest mothers. Birds generally have it. Their breasts are not red, but grayish-brown. The cap is not so velvety, and the mirrors on the wings are smaller. All bullfinches are tireless travelers: they spend the whole autumn and winter wandering, transferring from tree to tree, looking for berries of mountain ash, elderberry, ash, maple, etc. They refreshed themselves a little, rested and flashed again in the snow-covered copses.

Now pay attention to the bullfinch's beak. Do you think it is convenient to extract seeds with such a beak? (Answers of children). Therefore, the bullfinch is a bird (Granivorous).

So what does a bullfinch eat? How is its beak adapted to harvesting seeds and buds? Remember, if you find eaten fruits under a tree, it means that bullfinches were "eating" here.

Solve the next riddle and find the bird in the tree.

The fidget is small.

Almost the whole bird is yellow

Loves bacon and wheat.

Who recognized her ... (Titmouse)

Guys, look at the extraordinary color of the feathers of the titmouse. It seems that the bird has put on a yellow blouse with a black tie and a green raincoat, and adorned her head with a dark cap. It is a sedentary bird. Tits build nests in tree hollows, in burrows, under peeling bark of old trees and among snags. They live in flocks of 10 - 15 pcs.

Titmouse nest consists of thin dry stalks of grasses, twigs, moss, lichens. Tits are very useful in nature. During the day, they eat as many insects as they weigh themselves.

Guys, there is even a holiday in honor of the titmouse, it is celebrated on November 12th. On this day, wintering birds fly closer to human habitation. They loved the titmouse in Russia, considered her a bird, bringing happiness and the keeper of the prophetic word.

Here is a bird so a bird,
Not a blackbird, not a titmouse,
Not a swan, not a duck
And not a nightjar.
But this little bird
Though small
Breeds chicks
Only in the fierce winter. (Crossbill)

In winter, crossbills can also be seen in our area. It is a large-headed bird with reddish-brown plumage. They do not like loneliness, they keep in flocks. Small flocks of crossbills can be seen in conifers. Why? Cone seeds are their main food, but getting a seed from a closed cone is not so easy. How to be?

Consider this bird. Pay attention to the beak. What does it look like? The beak of the crossbill resembles tongs: thick, flattened on the sides, and at the end it is arranged so that the upper and lower parts of it intersect. With such a beak, a couple of trifles move apart the scales of the cone and get the seeds. The cones, after the crossbill has worked on them, seem disheveled. Klest throws them to the ground. A cone processed with a crossbill is easy to recognize: the crossbill tears it off along with the branch. And what is more interesting: the crossbill builds a nest and hatches chicks usually at the end of winter - in February. This is the only bird that hatches chicks in winter.

So how do you distinguish crossbills from other birds? What helps them get the seeds out of the bud? What is special about the behavior of birds in winter?

We continue to guess riddles:

In the forest, to the chirping, ringing and whistling,
The forest telegraph operator knocks:
"Hello, thrush, buddy!"
And he puts his signature ... (woodpecker).

Guys, meet an unusually beautiful bird - the woodpecker. Its wings, abdomen and wings are black. On the head there is a red speck like a hat. It has a strong beak and a long tongue. The woodpecker extracts beetles from under the bark - bark beetles, which is why the woodpecker is called the forest doctor. With the onset of spring, a woodpecker has offspring in the hollow: tiny blind chicks. Listen to a poem about a woodpecker.

Good woodpecker - healer in the forest

And a flying pharmacy.

If trouble happens to anyone,

Then he will rush to him in a moment.

What, the pine tree, got sick?

Moshkara ate you?

Yes-ah-ah, you really

The bark beetles prevailed.

But I give you my word -

You will be healthy again!

(V. Gvozdev)

Motley fidget
Long-tailed bird,
Talkative bird
The most talkative.
White-sided witcher,
And her name is ...
(Forty)

Magpie is called differently: magpie - white-sided, magpie - thief, chirping. Here are how many nicknames one bird has. How she looks like? The head, tail, wings are black, and the sides are white. Hence the nickname white-sided. Flying through the forest, the magpie makes a sound like a chirp - that's why they call her chirping.

It is not for nothing that she received the nickname “thief” - she loves everything shiny. Brings bright beads, wire, buttons to the nest.

With the onset of autumn, magpies gather in flocks. Rowan berries, sea buckthorn are a favorite delicacy of the magpies. Magpies do not fly to the south, but in winter cold they move closer to people.

Physical minute "Little bird"
Little bird
I flew in the sky (birds fly),
Sat under the window
Pecked crumbs (sat down, pecked grains),
The bird fluttered (got up, shook themselves off),
She straightened her back.
She sang a song, flew into the house (waving their hands).

Guys, what other birds do you see on our tree, name them?

Now let's play a game"Counting birds" count how many birds are sitting on the tree.

The game "Recognize the bird by verbal description."

This small mobile bird with a rounded head, short neck, ovoid body, short and rounded wings. The beak is firm, pointed towards the end. In the cold season, the birds sit tightly pressed against each other, cackling. (Sparrow.)

This is a beautiful bird. She has a black hat on her head, white cheeks, a black stripe on her throat - a tie, wings and tail are gray, the back is yellow-green, and the abdomen is yellow. (Tits.)

This bird has a beautiful variegated plumage. The upper body is black, on the head and neck there are white spots, on the folded wings there are white stripes, the undertail and crown of the head are red. The beak is strong and sharp. (Woodpecker.)

This bird has the top of the head, wings, tail - black; the back is bluish-gray, and the abdomen is red. The beak is short, thick, conical, black. (Bullfinch.)

This small bird is red in color with tenacious legs and a characteristic cruciform beak. (Crossbill.)

The head, wings, tail of this bird are black, and on the sides are snow-white feathers. The tail is long, straight, like an arrow. The beak is strong and sharp. (Magpie.)

This bird has a large, oblong body, large strong legs... She walks with long strides. The beak is strong and large. The head, throat and wings are black, while the rest of the body is gray. (Crow.)

Well done, we recognized all the birds.

What a table among the birches,
Open air?
He treats him in cold weather.
Birds with grain and bread (Feeder).

Right. What are feeders for?

What birds eat and what can be put in the feeder).

- Well done!

Wintering birds are not afraid of frost, they fly a lot and try to get food themselves even in the coldest weather. They look for insects hiding in cracks in the bark, in the crevices of houses and fences, they look for fruits and seeds of deciduous plants, cones conifers with seeds. They fly to our homes for help. And you and I must help our feathered friends survive the winter. What do we need to do, how to help them to survive in the cold season?
(children's answers).

That's right, the birds must be fed in winter, build feeders for them. Remember to clean these feeders before putting food in. Do not throw packages, cans in which you bring food near the feeders. It is necessary to ensure that the feed is always in the trough. Remember that birds need sunflower seeds, watermelon, melon, pumpkin seeds, pieces of unsalted bacon, and bread crumbs.

Game "Birds in the trough".

Now we will play with you. Imagine that you are birds. Take a picture of the bird you like. (Take) And I'm reading a poem. The bird that hears about itself "flies" to the "feeder". (They put the bird on the feeder)

“We made a feeder,

We opened the dining room.

Visit on the first day of the week

Tits flew to us,

And on Tuesday, look

Bullfinches have arrived.

Three crows were on Wednesday

We weren't expecting them for dinner,

And on Thursday from all over

A flock of greedy sparrows.

On Friday in our dining room

The dove feasted on porridge,

And on Saturday for a pie

Seven forty flew in.

Sunday Sunday

There was general fun. "

Didactic game"Bird's dining room"

Now go to the food tray, choose only what the birds eat.

(On the tray are jars with various food for birds. Among them are sweets, bread, cookies, fresh cabbage, bacon).

Guys, we visited the winter forest, and now we are returning back.

III. Lesson summary:

What birds were we talking about?

Why do we call them that?

What bird is called a forest doctor?

Which of these birds is bursting?

How can we help birds survive the harsh winter?

What is the name of the "bird's dining room"?

What kind of food should I put in the trough?

Guys, you and your parents have prepared feeders, today we will hang them out for a walk and put treats for our birds there. Let's set up "bird canteens" at home too, and I think the birds will be grateful to us for that.

Thanks for your work.

The course of the lesson.

1. Introductory part.

Conversation:

Guys, when I was going to your class, a forty flew up to me and

she crackled: “I was in the forest today, I don’t understand anything, the birds are not visible at all. Did trouble come to the forest?

But you and I know why there are no birds in the forest now. Truth?

Want to help a magpie?

You already know that there are people who study birds. Who remembers the name of this profession?

An ornithologist is a biologist who studies birds. He observes their behavior in the forest, city and zoo.

Want to play bird scientists?

Today, I am a senior birdwatcher and you are research assistants.

Guys, who are we with you today? - bird watchers.

Katya, who are we today?

Bogdan, who are we today?

Then let's go together to the forest and help Soroka figure out and understand what is happening in the forest.

One, two, three, turn around, find yourself on the edge of the forest!

(Children turn around and find themselves at the edge of the forest).

Here we are in the forest.

-How beautiful! Silence. What is this noise? What is this vanity among the trees?

Guys, these are birds. But where are they?

And here is an unusual tree. (Children come up to the tree on which "Sit" birds).

See what a lively flock has settled on the tree.

Look and tell me who do you see here? (Birds).

On what grounds did you determine this? (Beak, feathers)

The birds in this flock are different.

Let's take a closer look at them.

List these birds. (Bullfinch, magpie, crow, tit, sparrow ...).

How did you guess that this is a bullfinch? (Red breast).

How was it determined that it was a magpie? (Long tail, white sides).

How was it determined that it was a crow? (Black, big).

How was it determined that it was a tit? (Yellow breast).

Well done boys.

All these birds gathered together in the fall.

It is easier for them to feed in a flock. One bird will find food, others rush to her voice.

How do we call them, in one word?

Wintering.

Why were they named that?

Because they stay for the winter.

And what do you think, wintering birds are cold in winter, because it is known that birds do not have wadded robes or sweatshirts?

How do birds keep warm in cold weather?

During frosts, birds crumple to keep warm. Both the feathers themselves and the air gap between them retain heat. When it is cold, the birds raise their feathers and the thickness of the "air coat" increases.

And then, due to the temperature of their body, they can withstand severe frosts.

So, why, after all, do many birds fly away to warmer regions?

What do you think, what is worse for wintering birds: cold or hunger?

The hungry bird suffers greatly from the cold. In winter, the day is short, and in order to survive without freezing, you need to eat much more food than in summer.

Guys, is it easy for birds to look for food in winter?

Yes, that's right, it's hard for birds to find food for themselves in winter. And so they fly closer to people for help.

We also tried to help the birds survive the difficult winter.

Let's remember how we helped wintering birds to survive in the winter cold.

We made feeders for the birds and fed them every day.

I want to remind you that the food from our table is not suitable for birds.

Each bird has its own favorite food.

Let's play now and find out if you remember which bird eats what.

What does it eat? ......

Sparrow - eats seeds, grains, berries, bread crumbs, any cereals.

Tit feeds on plant seeds, loves sunflower seeds and lard (unsalted).

Crow - crows are omnivorous birds. This is a city orderly, eats any grains, seeds, bread and leftovers from the human table.

Bullfinches love watermelon seeds, pumpkins, seeds of conifers and herbs, young buds, berries, especially mountain ash.

Dove - loves plant seeds, grains, cereals and bread.

When we fed the birds, we followed some rules. Let's repeat them.

  • Do not litter during feeding, do not leave on the street plastic bags, cans, boxes
  • It is necessary to feed the birds in the same place, preferably at the same time, the birds themselves will fly by this time
  • It is necessary to feed the birds regularly, daily, it is impossible to feed from time to time, it is in frosts that birds need food every day in order for them to survive

Put a little food, precisely in order to feed, support in difficult times.

2. The main part.

Now guys, we'll see how smart and attentive you are.

Do you like to guess riddles?

The game "Guess the riddles"

Guessing riddles.

Sit down more comfortably, I will ask you riddles, and you will find the answers on the table.

And in the winter will find shelter

He is not afraid of a cold -

With the first snow right there!

(bullfinch).

2. Coloring - grayish, habits - thievish,

Karkunya is hoarse.

(Crow).

3. They do not fly away to a warm region,

They sing in the cold.

These little birds

Are called

5. I catch bugs all day,

I eat bugs, worms.

I don't fly away to a warm land,

I live here under the roof. Chick-chirp!

Don't be shy! I am seasoned ... (Sparrow)

If the sparrows are cackling, if they are quiet, there will be snow.

6. Motley fidget,

Long-tailed bird,

Talkative bird

The most talkative

(Magpie.)

We saw all these birds at our feeders or just nearby on the site. Is not it?

And this bird did not come to us either, but we also know a lot about it.

7. Here is a bird, so a bird,

Not a blackbird, not a titmouse,

Neither swan nor duck

And not a nightjar.

But this little bird

Though small

Breeds chicks

Only in a fierce winter (Crossbill.)

Klest hatches his chicks in January frosts.

But this bird also did not come to us, because it remains in the forest.

Flies all night

Extracts mice.

And it will become light

Sleep flies into the hollow

it predatory bird that feeds on small birds and mice. And her plumage is warm and large, so she is not cold and hungry in the forest.

Let's all of you be little birds, one of them - an owl.

Physical education

Outdoor play "Owl" .

On one side of the site there is a place for "Little birds". A circle is drawn to the side - "owl's nest." " fly (children run around the playground)... On the word of the educator: "night" quickly stop in their places and do not move. The owl at this time quietly flies out to the hunting ground and picks up those children who have moved (takes them to the nest)... On the teacher's word: "day" the owl returns to its nest, "little birds" begin to fly. The game ends when the owl has 2 - 3 prey. The teacher marks children who have never been taken into the nest by an owl.

Guys, you probably all wondered: do we know everything about the birds that remain to winter in our area?

Well, of course, not all.

The game "I believe - I do not believe" .

If the statement is correct, then you answer: "I believe" , and if the statement is incorrect, then you answer: "I do not believe" .

In birds, the body is covered with wool.

The body is covered with feathers.

There is a beak.

Birds are flying.

Crossbills hatch chicks in winter.

The tit has a yellow belly.

The sparrow has a large strong beak.

The magpie has a short tail.

For birds, the worst thing in winter is hunger.

Crossbones love cone seeds.

Tits love lard.

The crow is a small bird.

We continue to play. The game "The fourth extra" .

Now, to find out how well you know birds, let's play a game "The fourth extra" ... Look carefully at the pictures, and tell me, which bird is superfluous here?

(Children explain their choice).

Game '' Broken words ''

(you need to correct the broken words and find out the name of the wintering bird).

VA-SO, RO-SO-KA, TSA-SI-NI, TEL-DYA, NA-RO-VO, WEIGHT-SLEEP.

Composing a story "Wintering Birds"

Something our birds are sad on the tree.

When birdwatchers work to study a given bird, they write an article, work, or book. Let us and we today remember everything that we have learned about wintering birds. And then we will write down our stories and also continue our book.

Let's remember what the bird has? (Head, beak, torso, legs, wings)... What only birds have? (Wings.) What can only birds do? (Fly.)

Guys, who will tell you about the titmouse …… (owl, sparrow, bullfinch).

Ornithologists also make sketches of birds in their work, or photograph them.

Today we will color the wintering birds and also place them in our book.

But first, let our fingers rest.

Finger gymnastics.

The bird has arrived

Turned the head.

Pecked crumbs

From my palm.

I shook the feathers

She quickly flew away. We wave our hands.

The fingers are collected in a pinch. We perform turns with the hands.

On one hand, fingers are gathered in a pinch, on the other - the palm is open. We depict how the bird pecks the grain.

Alternately, the thumb connects with the rest, starting with the index finger.

We wave our hands.

Now your fingers are ready and you can get to work

Choose which wintering bird you will paint.

(Children sit at a prepared table).

Pay attention to the color of the plumage.

Development of fine motor skills "Coloring birds" .

Music sounds during coloring "Voices of the Birds" (crossbill, sparrow, bullfinch, crow).

We will sign the names of the birds. - We will place this book in a group. The music is playing "Birdsong" .

What birds were we talking about?

Why do they need help?

Children reading a poem by A. Yashin. "Feed the birds in winter"

Feed the birds in winter

Let from all ends

They will flock to you like home,

Flocks on the porch.

Their food is not rich,

One handful - and not scary

It will be winter ...

Well done, but while we studied and helped the wintering birds, spring has come and our feathered friends will soon return to our native lands.

What do birds start doing in spring?

Birds start to build their nests

But what do people do, waiting for the birds in the spring?

People make birdhouses and hang them in the trees. Our feathered starling friends will arrive and settle in birdhouses.

Well done! I am sure that you will become reliable friends for all birds and will always be ready to help the birds.

Thank you very much! I wish you all the best!

Lesson objectives:

1. To update the children's dictionary on the lexical topic "Wintering birds".

2. Expand ideas about what birds eat in winter.

3. To develop fine motor skills of hands.

4. Develop interest in the lesson through the use of visual material, game moments.

5. To cultivate a love for birds, a desire to take care of them.

6. To cultivate perseverance, hard work, the ability to maintain attention throughout the lesson.

Preliminary work: viewing paintings depicting wintering birds, observing in nature while walking, making bird patterns, reading poems about birds.

Equipment : pictures of birds, snowflakes, tree, seeds, berries, fat, cones, bird patterns for application, paste, brushes.

Move.

1 It's winter outside. Coldly. Snowflakes swirl slowly in the air. One of them flew into our open window. What a miracle! She turned into Princess Snowflake. Look how beautiful she is, how her dress shines! The snowflake flies everywhere, has seen a lot, knows a lot. She will introduce us to birds that do not fly to warm regions for the winter, they are called wintering ones; will tell you about them. Listen to the poem and name the words "snowy" from the poem. Be careful!

Snowy tale.

Danced in the snow

Snow blizzards.

Bullfinches for snowmen

The song whistled.

By the snowy river

In a snowy lane

Snowballs are ringing

Snow maidens are cutting the ice.

Guys, what snowy words do you remember?

Snow, snowy, snow maidens, snowman ...

And who remembered which bird was mentioned in the poem?

That's right, bullfinch. I draw your attention, guys, that a bullfinch is a nomadic bird, but it hibernates with us.

Well done, we remembered all the snowy words.

2-Guys, look, I have pictures of birds on the board, but there was confusion, and wintering birds mixed with migratory ones, let's call the wintering birds with you, and mark them with a snowflake.

We mark birds: crossbill, sparrow, bullfinch, magpie, crow, cuckoo, titmouse, woodpecker.

Why don't we mark the swallow and the crane with a snowflake?

That's right, because the swallow and crane are migratory birds. Migratory birds are not adapted to make themselves stocks of food for the winter and to get it in winter conditions. In the summer they live with us, build nests, breed chicks. And with the onset of cold weather they fly away to hot countries in order to return to their native lands in the spring.

3-Game "Cut pictures"

Guys, now I propose to you to collect the birds, and name who got what.

Well done, did a good job.

Now let's have a physical education.

4 Physical education.

The forest and fields are covered with snow,
The earth sleeps soundly under a snowdrift.
They are looking, looking for birds,
What to feed on.

We will make a feeder

And we will fill them with food.

5 And why do you think wintering birds (sparrows, pigeons, tits, magpies, woodpeckers, crows) all year round live with us? These birds are not afraid of frost and manage to get their own food even in the coldest winters. They look for insects that hid in cracks in the bark of trees, crevices of houses and fences, eat fruits and seeds of deciduous plants, cones with seeds of conifers. Nuthatches and tits are looking for supplies that they made in the fall.
And yet it is very hard for birds in winter. It is especially difficult to find food during snowfalls, in blizzards and severe frosts. In such weather, birds often starve and even die from cold and hunger. Birds in winter time approaching people's dwellings. And you and I must help our feathered friends survive the winter.

6 What holiday did we celebrate recently?

Right, New Year, and today, I decorated a Christmas tree for birds.

A garland of bacon, mountain ash, bread hang on the tree.

What kind of bird will we plant next to the mountain ash?

Correctly a bullfinch.

And what bird will we plant to the bread?

That's right, sparrow, magpie.

And who loves bacon, what kind of bird?

That's right, tit.

Guys, let's put seeds in this feeder and hang them on the site (the feeder is made out of a box).

7 And now Christina will tell us a poem by Z. Alexandrova

"New dining room"

We made a feeder
We opened the dining room.
Sparrow, bullfinch neighbor,
You will have lunch in the winter.

Visit on the first day of the week
Tits flew to us.
And on Tuesday, look
Bullfinches have arrived.

Three crows were on Wednesday
We weren't expecting them for dinner.
And on Thursday from all over the world -
A flock of greedy sparrows.

On Friday in our dining room
The pigeon feasted on porridge.
And on Saturday for a pie
Seven forty flew in.

Sunday Sunday
There was general fun.

Well done guys, what kind of birds did we hear?

Forty, sparrows, crows, tits, bullfinches. Everyone was remembered.

8 Guess the riddles

In winter, there are apples on the branches!
Hurry up to collect them!
And suddenly the apples flew up,
After all, this is ... (bullfinches)

That's right, bullfinches.

Listen also:

Arrived, sat down,
They sang a song
Two girlfriends, two sisters,
Nicknamed - ... (Titmouse).

Well done, you guessed the riddles, and now I suggest you finish the birds and make them breasts, if red, it will turn out to be a bullfinch, and if it turns out yellow, who? Correctly titmouse.

And before we get started, let's stretch our fingers.

9 Finger gymnastics.

10 Let me remind you that first we cut the thread, then carefully spread the work with glue, and then glue the threads. We work carefully.

While the work is being done, the music of the voice of birds sounds.

At the end, the guys hang the birds on the tree, pinning them with a clothespin.

Look, what beautiful birds you have turned out, well done.

Guys, look, and the birds have prepared gifts for you. I take out a box under the tree and treat the children.

V: Oh guys, there is another envelope in the package. Let's see what's in it. Here interesting story, which happened to Masha and Vitya. Do you want to listen? (Yes)

In winter, Masha and Vitya walked in the park. In the snow, the guys saw a freezing sparrow. Masha took the bird in her hands and began to warm him with her breath. The guys decided to save the sparrow. They put the bird in a mitten and hurried home. At home, the sparrow warmed up, began to peck seeds. In the evening Vitya made a trough. The next day, the guys released the sparrow, and hung the bird feeder on a birch tree in the park. Every day the children brought bread crumbs and seeds to the trough. So the guys helped the birds to survive the fierce winter.
- Did you like the story? (Yes)
- What were the names of the girl and the boy? (Masha and Vitya)

- What did Vitya do? (Feeding trough)
-Why do the birds need a feeder? (for the birds to eat)

- Of course, guys, hunger is terrible, because birds are warmed by feathers, and under the snow it is difficult for birds to find food.
- What do you think the guys did a good thing? (Yes)

V.: Guys, Sovunya asks if you know what tongue twisters are. Do you know how to pronounce them?

The crow missed the funeral.

The jackdaw sat down on a stick, the stick hit the jackdaw.

Forty-forty ate cheese in a short time.

V.: Guys, it turns out you and I know a lot about birds: we read books, drew them, watched them on walks, memorized poetry.
And now I suggest you play the game "The Fourth Extra". I will name a group of birds, and you guess which one is superfluous.

Course of the lesson

Slide 1. Educator: Dear friends! I know that you are real friends of birds, you not only love them, but also help them to survive the difficult winter days, feed them, make nests and feeders together with your parents. But in order to help them, you need to know a lot about birds.

What kind of wintering birds do you know? (Answers of children)

What can a person do to make life easier for birds in winter? (Answers of children)

Educator: You can get acquainted with wintering birds all year round. These birds do not fly away to warm lands, but stay with us at any time of the year. Today we will talk about city birds - sparrows, pigeons, crows, magpies, and about forest dwellers - woodpeckers, titmice, their companions - nuthatches, kinglets - and some other birds that bring great benefits to humans by exterminating harmful insects. At the same time, they are a true decoration of our nature (especially in winter), thanks to their bright plumage, original appearance or a kind of “singing”.

Slide 2. Look at this cheerful, vigorous, loud-voiced, intelligent bird, everyone knows it and will not be confused with anyone. Many nicknames were given to forty people. What have you heard the nicknames of the magpie? (Thief magpie, white-sided)

Slide 3. What does a magpie look like?(Answers of children)

Educator: Indeed, everything is black in the magpie: the head, wings, and tail, but the sides are white. The magpie's tail is especially beautiful: long, straight, with a beautiful greenish tint. In the middle of summer, the magpie changes plumage. At this time, she hides in the forest. Magpies are curious, they are always where something happens: they sit high in the branches of trees and comment on what happened in loud voices. These birds have a characteristic voice - a sharp chirping, similar to "Cha - cha - cha".

But the magpie is called a "thief" because she likes everything bright, shiny and she cannot resist not to pull off the thing she likes. The prey of the magpie is carried to the nest. There you can often find pieces of wire, glass, shiny buttons and beads, even teaspoons and glasses.

Slide 4. Do you know where the magpies are nests? (Answers of children)

Educator: Nest of a magpie arranges high on a tree. It looks like a huge ball: dry branches are held together by clay and earth, and from the inside is lined with plant leaves, wool, and fluff. In April - May forty - the mother lays 5–8 eggs in the nest and incubates them. After about 2 weeks, the magpies are born. After a month, the chicks leave the nest, but still do not fly far from their parents.

In winter, the magpie moves closer to the person: it is easier to feed next to him, it is not so difficult to survive the long cold winter.

Magpie is beneficial by destroying mice, harmful insects, worms, slugs. The magpie loves to feast on seeds of plants, berries and fruits.

Slide 5. Probably, more than once I had to hear that a woodpecker heals trees. What diseases do trees have and why only a woodpecker can help them? (Answers of children). Slide 6. Our forests are home to many beetles - woodcutters and bark beetles - the worst enemies of trees. They gnaw through passages in the bark and trunk of the tree, destroy it from the inside. Only a woodpecker can sit on a tree as a "soldier" and move from the bottom up along the trunk, clinging to the bark with sharp claws and helping itself with a hard, elastic tail. Slide 7. Only the woodpecker with its strong beak and long tongue can get beetles and their larvae from their shelters.

With the help of its extraordinary beak, the woodpecker speaks with other woodpeckers, tapping out whole messages. In the spring, he likes to feast on sweet birch sap, but he does it carefully, without harming the tree. Slide 8... Woodpecker chicks appear in spring. They will be born blind, unfeatured. Parents feed babies with midges, ant eggs, beetle and butterfly larvae. Chicks grow up quickly.

In winter, woodpeckers do not fly away from our lands, because they have enough food in the forests. The bird picks a spruce or pine cone from a branch, conveniently fixes it in a fork in the tree and hulls seeds from the cone with a strong beak.

Educator: I suggest you play the game "Birds at the Feeder".

Slide 9. Educator: Guys, titmouses often come to our feeding trough.

Tits are very agile and dexterous birds, their strong legs with sharp and sharply curved claws on strong toes are well adapted to grip on branches. Flipping from branch to branch, rummaging through every crack in the bark, they pull out insects, their larvae and eggs, hidden for the winter with their straight and sharp beak. Slide 10. The plumage of the tits is bright and beautiful - it seems that the bird has dressed up in a yellow blouse with a black tie and a green raincoat, and has adorned its head with a dark cap.

Slide 11. In spring, titmice make nests in woodpecker hollows, in the crevices of wooden buildings, covering them with down and feathers, willingly settle in nesting sites - titmouses. To insulate the home, birds bring woolen hairs and pieces of cotton wool.

Educator: Guys, do you know what the tits eat? (Answers of children)

Slide 12. In spring and summer, tits feed on insects. In autumn and winter, besides the fact that they eat seeds, berries, they love pieces of meat and lard that people feed them.

Tits must be protected all year round: in summer, protect their nests, feed them in autumn and winter, since a lot of them die at this time.

Educator: Guys, you will know that birds winter both in the city and in the forest. But there are also migratory birds. I suggest you play the game "Migratory and Wintering Birds"(on one table there is a model representing migratory birds, on the other - a model representing wintering birds. Children arrange pictures with birds in accordance with the models).

Educator: And we continue our meeting with the birds. Slide 13. And a crow meets us. Do you remember what a crow looks like? (Answers of children)

The crow is a cunning, dexterous and resourceful bird. Slide 14. This is a large bird, it does not stand out for its brightness of color. The head, beak, throat, wings, tail and legs are black, while everything else is gray. Slide 15. In winter, crows live in a city or village, near a person. They feed in the daytime in landfills, and in the evening, with noise and croaking, they gather in large flocks and fly to spend the night in the park, sit on trees, huddled closely to each other, and in this way warm up.

A crow's nest is built on a tree from dry branches, lining it with rags and feathers. The nestlings are first fed by the male, then by both parents. A month later, the chicks fly out of the nest.

Did you know, friends, that crows not only croak loudly, but also know how to imitate, for example, a dog's barking, a man's laughter.

The crow is omnivorous - it eats beetles and other insects, snails, lizards, frogs, fish, small rodents, pecks grains and can even feed from garbage cans - bones, the remains of human food.

Slide 16. Educator: And this is a forest wintering bird - crossbill. See what it looks like. Slide 17... This bird is a permanent inhabitant of winter forests. The plumage of the crossbills is elegant - bright cherry, the females are modestly colored - yellow-green.

The crossbill has an amazing beak - very strong, thick, laterally compressed. The tip of the upper part of the beak is crooked downward, and the lower, stronger part of the beak is bent upward, and thus the beak is in the form of a cross.

Slide 18. Educator: Do you know to When do crossbills chicks appear? Crossbills hatch chicks in winter, in the most bitter frosts. A deep, warm nest saves the chicks from the cold. Klestikha - mother, having laid eggs from the nest, does not fly out until the chicks fledge. A caring dad feeds her at this time - a crossbill. Crossbill feeds on seeds of spruce and pine cones.
