She studies at the Lyceum. At one of the first meetings in the class, a scientific work for first graders was announced. “If you wish,” the teacher said. “If you feel that your child will be able to perform, get ready.”

A month later scientific work declared mandatory. All our first-graders were "invited" to present scientific work in the classroom, and to send the best works to the school conference. It is worth noting that children from 6 to 7.5-8 years old study in our Zhokhov class. The age range is very large. Can you imagine what it means to come up with a scientific work for a six-year-old?

Research work in primary school involves not only conducting experiments, but also putting forward a hypothesis, setting tasks and goals of scientific work. Writing an explanatory note, report and visual presentation.

It is clear that most of this work falls on the shoulders of the parents. Which is fundamentally wrong. Therefore, I tried to make sure that Anyuta took part as much as possible and let the scientific work "through herself". We did it.

This article - our experience in organizing scientific work for a first grader. I hope it will be useful for parents of children preparing for scientific work.

Scientific work for a first grader

Let's highlight 7 main points for the successful implementation of research work.

  1. Choice of theme.
  2. Setting goals and objectives of scientific work. Putting forward a hypothesis.
  3. Implementation of the practical part (conducting experiments / research).
  4. Conclusions / analysis.
  5. Writing an explanatory note.
  6. Preparation of a report for a speech.
  7. Presentation creation.
  8. Training, preparation for the performance.

Choosing a topic for research work

There are two points to pay attention to when choosing a topic for a scientific work:

  1. The interests of the child.
  2. Parent's sphere of knowledge.

It is important that the topic of the work captivates the child, otherwise he will not be able to fully participate in the process. He will simply not be interested. It is equally important that the parent has a good command of the topic.

My daughter and I thought about the research topic for a long time, but she was born by accident. At lunch. Anyutka ate cheese and wondered why he yellow color? After all, it is made from white milk. Everything! I immediately offered to make the cheese myself, at the same time and figure out this issue.

As a villager in the past, I knew all this firsthand. We made our own sour cream, butter, cottage cheese and cheese. So my daughter got acquainted with these processes. The topic of the scientific work was formulated and thought up by Anya herself: "Amazing transformations of milk."

Setting goals and objectives of scientific work. Putting a hypothesis

I'll tell you how it was with us.

Having decided on the topic, we talked a lot about what we would do. I talked about my own: how my grandmother together knocked butter in the churn, how there were cans of milk on the veranda, how we cooked cottage cheese, etc.

She asked leading questions that make you think. They talked about natural products and additives, talked about why kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese are called sour milk.

Exactly in conversations with the child, the goals and objectives of scientific work are born. Later when you write explanatory note- you will help to formulate them beautifully. But in the child's head, they will be fixed thanks to the discussions.

When you understand that the child knows where to go and what to do, you can begin to conduct experiments and experiments.

I will talk about the practical part of our research work in a separate article, but for now let's move on to writing an explanatory note or to the text design of a scientific work.

Scientific work of a first grader - how to arrange

When we finished with the experiments, I wondered how to properly formalize the scientific work. We took photos of ours and were ready to write a short report. But this was not enough.

Each school has requirements for the design of scientific work. Be sure to read them in order to understand what sections should be in scientific work, what font to use, how the work will be evaluated.

The main sections of the explanatory note to the scientific work:

  • Introduction.
  • Theoretical part.
  • The practical part.
  • Conclusion (with conclusions).
  • Bibliography.

In addition to an explanatory note, a report is written - what the child will talk about at the speech.

When I found out about it, my eyes widened. Yes, a high school student can do that. But kids! First graders. This is just unreal. But since we have taken up scientific work, we need to complete it.

What did my daughter and I do? We did everything together. To make Anyutka understand, every time before starting work we made a small plan: what we want to tell you about. I was typing the text, Anya helped to formulate thoughts.

We spent about a week on the explanatory note. We worked for about an hour a day.

Preparation of a report for a speech

I wrote the report for the speech myself. I just made a selection from our common work, and simplified the proposals. Then she gave it to Anyutka for proofreading. She read, I listened. Where she stumbled or found it difficult - I marked myself and simplified the text. For 3-4 times we have brought it to perfection.

In the process of preparing for the speech, Anya independently adapted some points of the report for herself. And the report itself formed the basis. Not a bad achievement.

But more on that next time. I will explain in detail:

  • about the intricacies of creating a presentation;
  • how easy it is to convey information to the child and listeners;
  • how to prepare a first grader to speak at a scientific conference.

Currently, primary school research is considered a prerequisite learning. Let's find out the goals, objectives, directions of such work. Here are the finished research papers in elementary school.

The relevance of research

Serious reforms have taken place in Russian education. The first generation standards characteristic of the classical educational system have been replaced by the new federal state educational standards. They imply the organization of primary education not only as an opportunity for schoolchildren to acquire certain subject knowledge. The updated standards are aimed at developing the adaptation of children to life in social society... After completing the first stage of education, students should develop universal learning skills.

Design and research work in elementary school successfully copes with such tasks, helps the teacher to build individual educational trajectories for each student.

The skills that the child acquires at the junior stage of education help him avoid problems in cognitive activity in the future.

Children's research work in primary school is often carried out under the guidance of parents, which is an excellent educational aspect, helps to strengthen family values... For example, a student, together with his parents, is looking for information about family customs, rituals passed down from generation to generation.

Skills acquired

The finished research work in elementary school is presented by the author to his classmates. Children learn to analyze the activities of other students, ask questions, answer them. The experience of creative thinking, experiments and experiments, provide a deep understanding of the importance of the work in question, increase interest in scientific work among younger students.

The research work of a primary school student is a progressive form educational process in a modern school. The rich experiences that children receive in the process of joint activities with parents and teachers gives them a real opportunity to manifest their creative and intellectual abilities.

The purpose of the search method in primary school

Research work in elementary school is aimed at developing the primary skills of conducting experiments and experiments in schoolchildren, mastering the methods of adaptation in social life... Physiological features of this age confirm the biological need of children of seven to eight years of age to learn, to gain new life experience.

Interesting research work in elementary school helps to generate in children the desire to become real scientists. The thirst for new impressions should be used by the teacher.

Research topics in primary school are often related to the study of wildlife, family values. They should encourage a novice researcher to take action, a desire to understand the material that he has chosen for his work.

Features of research

A lot of research work in elementary school is done in a corner of nature. The guys not only watch the plants, but also learn the skills of caring for them. For example, research projects in elementary school may relate specifically to identifying the conditions for the rapid development of certain indoor plants.

The teacher must use to the maximum extent the child's inner desire to learn about the world, its diversity and uniqueness. Primary school research is changing not only the way students think, but also their behavior.

Registration rules

How is research done in primary school? Its design is no different from the rules that apply to the scientific works of schoolchildren. Any project or work must have a title page. It indicates the name of the school on the basis of which the work was carried out. Also, the name of the work, the surname and name of the student, as well as the teacher, who acted as the scientific advisor, is prescribed.

Finished research work in elementary school assumes the presence of content (table of contents). It indicates a listing of the main sections that are in this work. The pages that provide information on each point of the study are also indicated.

Any ready-made research work in elementary school should be relevant, contain some element of novelty, uniqueness. Together with the teacher, the child sets a specific goal for his research. Individual research work in primary school, finished projects must have a specific purpose. For example, a child might plan to explore ways to transplant garden strawberries in their study. A sample primary school research paper is presented below to demonstrate the complete structure of a school project.

In addition to the goal, the work must indicate the tasks that the young researcher set for himself. To make it easier for the child to search for theoretical material, indicate the subject and object.

What else does primary school research include? Grade 4 is the final one at the initial stage of education, so the guys already know how to make assumptions. The study indicates the hypothesis that the novice scientist plans to confirm in the course of his experimental activities.

The main part of the study provides a full review of various books on the problem of the selected study. If the topic is related to practical activities, then laboratory experiments are included in the work. The last section of any research is the one in which the child must draw conclusions, give recommendations on the problem of his research.

What else does primary school research imply? Grade 3 already knows how to work with literary sources, therefore, the list of references used by the author is indicated in the work.

Registration of literary sources

Books are listed in alphabetical order, indicate the author, title of the work, publisher, year of publication. Does the supplement contain elementary school research work? Topics: "3D-design of my room", "Dream Garden", "Garden on the windowsill" imply the addition of work with photographs, pictures, diagrams.

If, in addition to books, in the course of the research, sources from the Internet were used, they are also indicated in the list of references.

Research work is carried out not only by children. Topics: "Primary school grade 3: teaching methods and techniques", "The value of research in the first stage of education" can become options scientific activities teachers.

Works of schoolchildren

Here are examples of research work in elementary school, not including the title page.

What do we know about peas?

Peas are considered one of the oldest food plants. He was known to people even then, when no one even heard of cabbage, or potatoes, or carrots in Europe. Why was this plant so glorified? What is the nutritional value peas? Can peas be used in folk medicine? How to grow this crop in an ordinary summer cottage? What factors affect the growth of peas? In my work, I will try to find answers to these questions and connect the results of the experiment with the quality of the soil taken.

What are peas themselves? I'll try to figure it out. According to archaeological data, it is peas that are one of the ancient cultures that have average age about 20 thousand years.

Peas are a cold-resistant crop that only tolerates frosts down to 0 degrees. Its seeds begin to germinate at about two degrees Celsius. That is why it can be grown in the northern Russian regions where agriculture is permissible. In addition, this plant has a short growing season, it does not exceed three to six months. Peas do not tolerate drought well, they are a photophilous crop. Peas have a pivotal root system and a weak pivot, the length of which is no more than 2.5 meters. Leaves with several pairs of leaves and long tendrils ending in a leaf. At the base of all the leaves there are two hemispherical bracts, which are larger than that of the leaf itself.

They play a huge role in the process of photosynthesis. The leaves are usually blue-green in color. The flowers are large, 1.5-3.5 cm long, with a white, rarely yellowish, or reddish corolla. Peas are self-pollinating plants, but cross-pollination occurs in hot weather. The pods are mostly straight, sometimes curved, almost cylindrical, about three to ten centimeters long, with a white or pale green flap (skin). Each contains three to ten large seeds in the form of balls, which are called peas.

What is the healing power of the plant? Peas are a true champion in protein content. It is rich in important amino acids: cystine, lysine, ascorbic acid, it even contains carotene. Due to the balance of active biological and nutritional components, peas began to be considered a particularly valuable dietary product (it seemed to me very relevant in our time) for various diseases.

The aboveground parts of this plant as an infusion are excellent for kidney problems. The diuretic effect can be explained by the increased potassium content in its green parts. For ulcers on the skin, pea flour poultices help soften the inflamed areas. Pea flour works well for hard breast tumors.

Pea beans, roasted over moderate heat, ground and mixed with a portion of cyclone coffee, are replacing Indian coffee! How to prepare medicinal potions? I was so interested in this question that I reviewed many books with old recipes. Judging by the number of recipes, peas really have great value, and therefore, I was not mistaken in choosing them for the experiment.

So, having carefully studied all the features of peas, I decided to proceed to the practical part: prepare the soil, sow peas, harvest, dry the seeds, prepare one of the medicinal dishes from them, analyze the effect of using the dish.

The practical part of the work.

I set myself the following tasks:

Grow peas in two experimental beds, analyze the results of the experiment, compare two varieties of peas;

Analyze the quality of the soil at each site;

Make a conclusion about the ecological situation at the summer cottage;

From the resulting harvest, prepare at least one dish according to old recipes, analyze the results of its use;

Conducting the experiment, I made the following conclusions for myself:

Peas are sugar and shell peas.

He is picky about lighting, the action of the winds.

Peas are planted only in well-warmed soil.

Pea flowers are sensitive to cold weather.

To accelerate growth, peas must be loosened.

Peas are capricious and require watering.

Sugar peas need support, otherwise part of the harvest is lost.

The more often you harvest, the more it becomes.

There is a direct relationship between the condition of plants and the proximity of the roadway.

Sugar peas are softer, tastier, but the seeds spoil faster.

1. In order to reduce the effect of exhaust gases on plant growth, the summer cottage must be protected from the road by planting trees.

2. It is better to plant peas later, in well-warmed soil.

3. Weeding should be carried out only after the height of the plants reaches 2 - 3 cm (the root system will be strengthened).

4. It is better to water the peas with warm water.

5. Planting can be carried out without pre-soaking the peas.

Work on water

For several centuries, a person has been looking for ways to treat various diseases, not noticing that some of the ways are nearby. Such a remedy, for example, can be the treatment of a variety of diseases with melt water. The first information about hydrotherapy is found in ancient Indian and ancient Egyptian treatises written before our era. From Egypt, the method of treatment was transferred to Greece by Pythagoras. It was transferred from Greece to Rome by the physician Asclepiades. Our ancestors kept the water melted from Epiphany snow in jugs in case of illness.

Currently, hydrotherapy is widely used in the treatment of various diseases, so this topic can be considered quite relevant and interesting.

Unfortunately, now it is not so easy to find such snow, which, after melting, would become clean and useful for humans. drinking water... She alone is not drug... But it is water that provides self-regulation of the body, improves metabolism, increases the vital activity of each cell. This can be explained by its similarity in molecular structure with the intercellular fluid. Such water is active, it will be absorbed by the human body without any problems. It has a certain energy charge of cheerfulness, lightness that people need so much in winter. Fresh melt water strengthens the human body.

The purpose of my work is to obtain melt water and test its medicinal properties.

1.Get melt water by freezing.

2. To study the existing methods of treatment with melt water.

3. Do your own experiment.

In order to get melted water, you can use several methods:

1. If you live in the mountains, it is enough to collect the snow, then melt it. In this case, only clean, dry, recently dropped snow is taken. To thaw it, you can use an enamel bucket, which is closed with a lid. To speed up the process, you can place the bucket in a bowl filled with hot water. There should be no resinous sediment on the walls of the bucket, but if there is, then the water is unsuitable for consumption. To get rid of vegetable litter, the water is filtered through several layers of gauze. Then it is poured into a glass dish and tightly closed with a lid. She should not have a shelf life more than a week.

2. The water is quickly brought to + 94 ... + 96 ° C, ie bubbles are formed, but the water is not boiling yet. Then remove the pan from the heat and cool. Then it is poured into a jar and frozen.

3. It is necessary to pour water into a plastic container. cold water... Then it is closed with a lid, then placed on a cardboard lining in the freezer of the refrigerator. When the water completely freezes in about half of the container, you need to remove the ice, discard the rest. It is in liquid water that all impurities will remain. In practice, the volume of the "brine" removed can be from thirty to seventy of the total volume of the initially poured water.

After just a few experiments, I came to the following conclusions:

Melt water is really good for your health;

Melting water treatment is available to everyone.

However, melt water treatment is not a universal remedy. It, like, indeed, any medicine, has contraindications.

Whether it is worth using the properties of melt water in practice is up to you.

Conclusion

The primary school research examples above illustrate the basic structure of the project. Such activities contribute to analytical thinking: comparison, classification, generalization of the collected material.

During such activities, the guys get to know different methods research, apply theoretical skills in personal research.

A child who is passionate about project activities learns to organize their personal time. An important point any design work is the presentation of the results of the work done in front of other students and teachers.

In order to make their performance vivid and memorable, schoolchildren actively use information technologies already at the initial stage of education. The teacher introduces them to the basic rules for making a presentation. While preparing for a public presentation with the results of the research, the child learns to overcome fear of the audience.

In addition, a culture of speech is formed, which will help the student in his future schooling. In elementary school, research activities are carried out according to a certain algorithm. First, a topic is selected. Then the goal and objectives of the study are determined. Next, a hypothesis is put forward for work.

After conducting a literary review (acquaintance with various books), the child chooses a theory, selects a methodology for conducting his experiments and experiments. What are the basic conditions for the formation of research skills in younger students?

It is important to be systematic, motivated, systematic, the authority of the teacher, the psychological environment, taking into account the individual and age characteristics of the student.

Federal educational standards of the second generation presuppose the formation of four blocks of skills that a student will need in project activities.

Organizational skills involve organizing a workplace, drawing up an activity plan.

Research plan skills involve choosing a topic, setting a goal, choosing a research method, finding the necessary information.

The child learns to choose from a large volume only that material that is directly related to his research.

The fourth block involves the acquisition of skills to present their work. The student gets acquainted with the forms of demonstration of the results obtained, studies the requirements for the speaker's speech, the option for presenting the results of the work.

To carry out propaedeutic activities, the teacher uses a heuristic, problematic approach to the educational process.

During such classes, children learn to identify a problem, to determine an algorithm of actions aimed at solving it. It is problem-based learning that allows elementary school teachers to engage their pupils in research.

Today's school graduate must not only have knowledge of the main subjects, but also have practical skills and abilities. To achieve this result, today's educators use innovative teaching tools, one of which is learning activity. Already in primary grades students can be provided with interesting topics for performing research work in order to identify and develop their abilities in an interesting way for the student.

Modern teaching methods for recent times have changed significantly. To identify the individual abilities of schoolchildren today, many teachers offer interesting topics for scientific and research activities already in elementary school.

This allows you to form students' motivation to acquire knowledge, and also contributes to their general and personal development.

The learning activity of schoolchildren is a specially organized individual or joint activity with other children. It can be creative, educational, or playful. It is advisable to introduce its foundations already in the elementary grades.

At the same time, it becomes possible to solve the following pedagogical tasks:

  1. Stimulate students to develop their creative activity.
  2. Acquiring the skills of exploratory training as the most effective.
  3. Awaken interest in the study of sciences.
  4. Form the ability to self-study and knowledge of the surrounding world.
  5. Development of communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  6. Involvement of parents in the learning process.

This teaching method allows the child to develop independence, thinking outside the box and the ability to objectively assess the results of their own business.

For its successful implementation, the teacher must create the necessary conditions, the main of which are I am:

  • determination of motivation;
  • creating a creative atmosphere in the team of students;
  • psychologically comfortable environment for each participant;
  • Research topics for primary school should be age-appropriate.

Important! This teaching methodology is more focused on high school students. However, the foundation of knowledge and skills is laid at primary school age. Therefore, it should be implemented as early as possible.

It is imperative, especially for younger students, to create a supportive environment for the classroom. In this case, the psychological factor is of paramount importance. The proposed research work for children in grade 1 should be appropriate for their age.

This condition also applies to other age categories of participants. The themes of projects for schoolchildren of the first two years of study are chosen by the teacher. Starting from the third year of study, students can already independently make a choice of an interesting problem for them.

Project selection

In developmental teaching, the process of establishing exploration activities includes several stages, which are presented in the table.

Stage Year of study Tasks Methods
First 1 Teach the student the correct formulation of questions, the ability to observe, make assumptions Collective discussions, examining objects, modeling problem situations- in the process of conducting lessons. Excursions, educational games, simulation using available materials- outside the lessons
Second 2 To teach the student to determine the direction, compare the facts, analyze them, draw conclusions and be able to form them, develop independence, maintain initiative Conducting disputes, discussions, observation in accordance with the developed plan, speeches of children and teachers with stories - in the process of conducting lessons. Excursions, role-playing games, experiments, reports, individual modeling - after hours
Third 3–4 Accumulation and use of experience. Solving problems yourself. Consciousness of reasoning and conclusions Conducting research lessons, questionnaires, experimental activities and protection of results

Early school age the most inherent cognitive interest. It is on this psychological and physiological feature of this age category that the scientific and research activities of children are based and the topics of research work in elementary school are selected.

Starting from the fifth year of study, the establishment of social relationships with others and the desire to take a worthy place in the team come to the fore among children. At this age, schoolchildren begin to clearly manifest independence, and their spheres of activity expand.
